Team Manager for Microbiology Laboratory

Felgueiras

  • Building and maintaining a microbiology laboratory;

  • Academic background: A relevant academic background (B.Sc. or higher).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years as a Team Manager;
    • Expertise and knowledge of Cleanroom monitoring, validation, bioburden;
    • Project knowledge and experience (Project Management experience is a plus);
    • Laboratory knowledge;
    • Solid understanding within the field of Quality i.e. GDP and GMP etc. (Quality Assurance experience is a plus).
  • Business understanding: Holistic understanding of End-To-End production.

Supply Chain Planner and Process Owner

Felgueiras

  • Act as local process owner for SC processes in CMPT;
  • Act as local super user for SC systems;
  • Follow-up on delivery performance and inventory levels on target for all finished goods produced;
  • Create detailed operational production plans (4 weeks SKU plan) for all intermediates and finished goods that can be executed by production;
  • Create workorders needed to execute production plans;
  • Close collaboration and follow-up with production and all other functions at CMPT to ensure execution of production plans;
  • Ensure availability of all raw materials needed for execution of production plans;
  • Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the inventory management and measurements process (IVM) on the site.
  • Essential qualifications:
    • Relevant degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field (B. Sc. or higher);
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in planning or related supply chain activities within manufacturing;
    • Proficient with ERP and planning systems;
    • Extensive knowledge of relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, Power BI);
    • High level proficiency in oral and written English;
    • Good communication skills and ability to train others;
    • Good communication skills and ability effectively train team members.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • International experience or experience working with multinational companies;
    • Experience from medical device or pharmaceutical businesses;
    • Experience with JD Edwards/Oracle E1 and OMP+.
  • Physical or other job requirements:

    • During start-up phase, travel can be up to 40/days per year;
    • After start-up finished, travel up to 20 days/year.

IT/OT MANAGER

Felgueiras

  • Responsible of leading the IT/OT areas in FEL Site and the FEL IT/OT infrastructure (servers, clients,etc);
  • Managing the existing communication platforms (Internet, cellular and internal phone comunications);
  • Responsible of making sure the central UPS system is able to sustain the IT/OT operation in case of any electrical shortage;
  • Keep a backup of all critical systems in the IT/OT areas, and making sure they are stored in a way they are secure and accesible in case of any issue;
  • Guarantee that FEL site is complaying with the local/global regulation of all licenses;
  • Responsible of managing the wired and wireless network infrastructure, controlling the traffic, and making sure the speed needs are fulfilled depending on the site needs;
  • Responsible of managing all printers and scanning devices, maintenance, consumables, spare parts, and reviewing the needs of adquiring mores devices depending on the growth of the company;
  • Responsible of keeping all systems working on its ideal condition;
  • Responsible of the access control systems of FEL site;
  • Support all the quality measurement systems/devices in FEL. Local IT/OT Quality System (procedures, instruction and creation of IT RM documentation);
  • Responsible of managing user administration and rights;
  • Responsible of supporting ERP systems and managing other user applications;
  • Responsible of managing maintenance of IT/OT systems, IT/OT project portfolio, and suppliers of IT/OT technologies;
  • Create reports, instructions and relevant documentations including IT/OT areas into current processes. Managing IT/OT related purchase orders documentations;
  • Forecasting IT/OT related costs and follow up on spends and creating accruals;
  • Responsible of development of the technical and financial content of service provider contracts for IT/OT;
  • Development and management of GDPR regulations related to IT;
  • Responsible for the management, installation, and follow-up of the assigned devices, materials, and parts;
  • Responsible for the professional handling of company-owned devices and tools, and for preserving their condition;
  • Responsible for complying with the regulations for production in a clean room;
  • Obliged to perform all other tasks related to the company’s activities, for which only his immediate superior or the managing director can give instructions.;
  • Responsible of tracking the OT/IT maintenance tasks and dealing with IT/OT related suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Managing team performance and their improvement activities;
  • Creating training plan and providing training for professionals and users with varying levels of IT/OT knowledge and competences;
  • Representing FEL Site ont the relevant global IT/OT forums;
  • Local responsible for maintaining the Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO 27001;
  • To be aware of and act based on responsibilities defined in the Quality Manual, within his/her area.
  • Essential qualifications:
    • BSc. Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic / IT Engineer / Software Developer;
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT related field;
    • Experience with IT Projects implementatio;
    • Experience with Manufacturing IT Protocols;
    • Standardization of network cabling knowledge;
    • English level, minimum B2;
    • Availability to work on different shifts and extra hours to complete the work according to the manufacturing needs;
    • Able to be On Call based on the manufacturing needs;
    • SQL knowledge;
    • CCNA – Certified Cisco Network Associate.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Factory Talk/ RS Linx, OPC Server;
    • Knowledge in HTML 5;
    • Knowledge of ISO27001 – Information Security Standard;
    • Knowledge of industrial computers and HMI interfaces;
    • Software validation knowledge;
    • PLC systems knowledge in Rockwell / Omron / Siemens;

  • Analyze inventory levels for indirect materials, process PO’s timely to address needs and ensure on time delivery, and with best price consideration. This includes a thorough follow up process after the PO has been placed and take actions to address timely when suppliers are not delivering on time;
  • Request for quotations and the assessment thereof;
  • Define and implement cost reduction projects for the assigned category spend. Targets will be defined in the goals and objectives each year;
  • Support local sourcing activities under his/her responsibilities;
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement in all needed projects and/or activities;
  • Lead the implementation project of the EAM purchasing and inventory control process for the site;
  • Implement programs to improve indirect materials turns compared to a predetermined baseline;
  • Lead local projects in collaboration with technical and operations development teams;
  • Lead sourcing analysis and drive tenders when needed (e.g., Spend, Business Award scenarios);
  • Address supplier delivery or quality issues immediately and provide feedback to Procurement;
  • Support Global Procurement on supplier onboarding, including but not limited to request and follow up on master data creation, monitoring adherence to contract terms, conduct local supplier reviews, amongst other tasks;
  • Identify and implement Best in Class purchasing processes;
  • Responsible for supplier agreement negotiations for site specific suppliers, including pricing and terms;
  • Represent Supply Chain on New Product teams, providing accurate feedback on supply chain strategies and variables;
  • Actively supports efforts to streamline activities within the department such as the supplier Kanban process, Vendor Managed Inventories and others to be defined;
  • Full administration of the ordering process from the demand until the approval of the invoice;
  • Continuous contact with the internal customers and the suppliers;
  • Establishment and maintenance of a supplier database;
  • Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given;
  • Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines;

  • Essential qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in materials, logistics, supply chain management or related field;
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in materials, supply chain management and manufacturing;
    • Proficient with ERP systems; JD Edwards knowledge is a plus;
    • Able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization;
    • Travel required – up to 10% per year.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Medical Device Company experience;
    • Familiarity with Cognos Reporting platform (is a plus);
    • Experience purchasing MRO’s and other indirect materials is mandatory;
    • Ability to create processes and implement them;
    • Proficient with MS Office; advanced user of MS Excel.

Operations Processes Leader

  • Be deputy of the head of operations in tasks that concern the operations department organization, setup and ramp up;
  • Learn and document all the relevant operations processes and systems;
